The people in my neighbourhood

People I see on a semi-regular basis, usually whilst walking to or from the train either in the morning or afternoon.

1.Dreamy Elvis Costello look-alike boy. Usually seen traversing the street, heading east. Thick black glasses, geeky look that makes the heart go PING!
Always has on headset, music blaring. Sometimes he smiles, sometimes I smile.
Usually spotted in the a.m.

2.Noodle guy. Usually spotted in the p.m. Almost always standing outside train station, eating, you guessed it, noodles! More often than not, muttering while shoveling noodles in mouth.

3. Jerry, the CTA guy. We've got a good thing goin' on. Time spotted varies with his work scheldue. In the a.m. he gets a smile and nod. In the p.m. we talk briefly about the day. He's good people.

4.Power-walking, suit and sneakers wearing lady. When I'm on time I catch her bounding from her front porch in her New Balance sneeks, ready to take on the work-a-day week. She walks fast and ctaches the train beofre mine.Spotted always in the p.m. Got a feeling that she gets home wayyyyy later than me.

5. Guy who always says "hey mama!" Drives a big ass boat of a car, yells hey mama at no one in particular.
