winter breakin'

right, so, apologies for the days of blog silence. my brain has been on hiatus. i haven't had anything interesting to say. i did, however, manage to use my camera phone to take some pictures, which you can view on my moblog to the right.

i'm going back to school in a week. i don't even want to think about it. this week i need to find an internship for this semester. and a job for the summer. we'll see how all that goes. right now, i just want to go to the mall...

maybe an outdoor mall...

especially since it's been around 70 degrees since i got home last week. i love texas. :)

Oh my gosh, you just summed up my undergraduate experience. I remembered being very overwhelmed with school and work and I just... wanted to go to the mall. bee hee.

Rooms! I miss you! When are you coming back to NYC?

hey nas, is it true that NYU banned coca cola products??

Posted by: Mahta at January 6, 2006 11:57 PM

that is true, mitz. many students believe that coca-cola is supporting drug cartels that are carrying out human rights violations in south america, such as torture and secret execution.

a lot of students contacted their SBA reps about it(student bar association is like student government, but for law school), and the SBA reps passed a resolution banning all coke products on campus (that includes, for instance, dasani water). so that's how it is now. i'm impressed that you knew that--guess it's making bigger headlines than i thought.
