other than summer break, i also love

-a well made sandwich. it doesn't need to be fancy, just made so i can taste each individual ingredient. and each one should be great. so far two places can provide me with my dream sandwich - al's deli in evanston and west side bakery in emeryville.

-having short hair again. i was trying to grow my hair out for my originally scheduled august wedding, but then i just couldn't take it anymore. besides, if i don't like having long hair, why would i want to have it for my wedding?

-reading. my daily work commute has rekindled my love of books. the only problem is that i find that i'm whizzing through books so fast that i can't even remember what books i read, let alone what they were about. currently, i'm rereading the harry potters in preparation for the release of book 7.

-summer break. did i mention that i don't have to go to work? oh, i did? sometimes it's hard to remember since i've been so busy sleeping, reading and watching tv. :)

i LOVE summer break

i slept today until 11:30. and the only reason i got up was to move to the couch to watch the gilmore girls. what to do now? sleep more, watch tv, read my book, go out and enjoy the day? i can do it all!!!!!!!

dear stupid people on the BART

yes, you stupid people who sit in the disabled/senior citizens/pregant women seats and when the very obviously blind man walks in with his seeing eye dog, practically trips over you, leans down and asks "are there any open seats?", you say "no". don't you know you are supposed to give up your seats?!?!?!?!?! there were four of you and all of you just looked at him. what is wrong with you!?!?!?!
thank god one of you finally got a clue and stood up. but it took you long enough!!! that man may not have had all five of his senses like you all, but none of you has any common sense!!!!!
and there i stood, wanting to scream at all of you - especially you sir, with your little travel pillow - it's the BART for god's sake, do you really need a travel pillow?. but once one of you stood up, i calmed myself and stayed silent. still though, the whole situation just makes me want to cry for humanity.
