meisa's lagoon

seeing as how this blog has been blank for a month and a half now, i'm sure this announcement will come as no surprise. i have decided that my time with meisa's lagoon is over. this has been in the works for about a year now. having a blog used to be fun and a wonderful outlet for my thoughts. but in the past year, i've felt that it has become more of an obligation, and has stopped being fun. i've held onto the lagoon for as long as i have because i felt like i was giving up, and i hate to be a quitter. but over the past few months, i've decided that i'm not really quitting, i'm just realizing that blogging isn't part of who i am now. and it took awhile, but i'm okay with that. and just because i'm stopping now, does not mean that i can never have a blog in the future. so who knows - maybe you'll be able to visit me again someday in a few years. but for now - you'll just have to call or email me to find out what's up!
man, i was just about to hit the "post" button when i realized how sad this makes me. as infrequently as i've been blogging, i'm really going to miss this. :(
