longest time without a shower?

i've had this issue recently with my lips reacting to something, getting all itchy, dry and swelling up. i finally went to the dermatologist about it and he recommended a patch test to figure out the cause. they put 70 some odd drops of chemicals on my back on monday, then they read it for reactions on wednesday and friday. what he neglected to tell me, and what i neglected to put together myself was that the process will equal 5 days sans shower. it's a good thing i'm not working now, but i've got a pretty big thing tomorrow that it would be nice to be clean for. i'll have to see what i can do about washing my hair and bottom half without getting my back wet at all. should be interesting.
he also didn't mention that they would be writing numbers 1-69 on my back in permanent marker. that should look really good when i wear my spaghetti strap dress to khalid's coworker's wedding on saturday night. i guess i could always pretend it's a very elaborate tattoo.
and lastly, he neglected to mention that each one of the goo drops that they put on my back would leak through the tape and stain my brand new shirt. as a consequence, i have not only not showered for the last 3 days, i also have been wearing the same grimy t-shirt so as not to stain anything else. i went in today for my reading, all prepared to bitch them out and get them to pay for my shirt. i even took the receipt with me. but alas, i felt bad and didn't have the nerve. i told the nurse that she should warn future patients but that is as far as i got. oh well, at least i said something. for now, i've got the really cute shirt hanging on my bedroom door and i've been staring at it and getting myself all worked up. any suggestiions on good stain removers? i used zout, but it didn't seem to do anything. the offending stain is presumably oils from the neosporin consistency chemicals they put on my back.

Oh man, I had to do the scratch test once, and you've reminded how frustrating it was -- especially the non-showering part.

The good news is that the results have been really helpful. Now I know what ingredients I need to avoid in cosmetics and such.
