this past week was perfect. wake up, eat, lie on beach, eat, take a nap, eat, go to bed. can't get much better than that. in between i sprinkled in a little puzzle action, reading 3 books, and shopping. but that's not all. I LEARNED TO RIDE A BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
khalid took on the task that many have tried, and many have failed. some credit must be given to the bike that was at the beach house. for the first time since trying out my luck on the pink sea princess, i had a bike that was actually my size. some credit must be given to me for not making tons of excuses like i usually do when people eagerly ask "do you want to learn to ride a bike?" but most all of the credit must be given to khalid. he was an incredible teacher - endlessly patient. and in the end, i was cruising on my own. i'm still a little shaky starting and can't really turn very well, but for the most part, i got it. yay! to my fellow new biker in her twenties, mojan, do you need a biking partner? is it okay if khalid still runs along side us in case i get scared? :)
