max is the most awesome person ever.
i got to northwestern about 3 years ago and started my quest for a PhD. i entered the lab with almost negative knowledge about synthesis. max took me under his wing and taught me everything. he continues to be my mentor, my friend, and in many cases, like today, my savior. if it hadn't been for him, i would have quit long long ago. i truly can't thank him enough for everything he has done for me.
max, simply said, you kick ass.
