Hab a colb?

I woke up on Saturday with a head cold, which has extended into today. Energy-wise, I am feeling much better today than the past few days. However, I feel as if there is a vacuum cleaner in the middle of my brain, sucking inward. As you can imagine, this feels a little weird.

Yesterday I took advantage of the sickyness and rented the first 8 episodes of 24, which everyone and their mom has been telling me I need to see. Needless to say, I watched all 8 episodes straight (I was doing other things too okay?) and while I wouldn't consider myself an addict, I really like it and know I have to finish out the season (even though it will take me another 16 hours figuratively). I do admit, though, that the cliffhanger effect in every episode is somewhat disrupted by the luxury of DVD. So maybe I'll be totally into it when I can watch it week by week.

And can I just say that I'm totally swamped? I'm totally swamped. If you are expecting to hear from me and you haven't, I still love you, but I'm sick and swamped and it has to wait. The vacuum in my head is dictating my every move.

i just want everyone to know that i claim full credit for saving lacey from the never-ending (and somewhat frightening) 24 marathon that she brought upon herself. we took a nice walk and had a very nice substantive conversation about life. i'm so happy we live in the same city now! :)

I am totally with you on the swamped issue. I can HEAR the stress! We should eat french fries, watch a movie, and be swamped together.

Oh yeah, I watched 2 more episodes last night. That brings my total up to 10 this week.
