Clear skies, clean air, and getting out of the norm

Paul gears up.

Double-barrelling the s'mores.

Tent at sunset. Scenic, no?

Wild flower growing in the prairie.

Me and the prairie.

Water grasses

Camping was good times! I had the distinct pleasure of trail riding Dixie Lou this weekend with the wrong kind of tires and only one set of brakes (I found out when putting the bike back together that the front nut that holds the brake was completely stripped)! Fun! She performed beautifully given the circumstances and I am not dead. Being with friends (Delara, Paul, Jamal and Sarah) and enjoying nature was wonderful and I can't wait to do it again soon!

Aah, Olaf, you Germans should try American s'mores! Graham cracker, chocolate (in this case, dark chocolate), and toasted marshmallow all sandwiched together. Americans don't go camping without eating smores, or at least toasted (or charred) marshmallows! I would love for you to come visit, but I think I can fix my bike myself ;)
