It's probably cruel to post this, when others in the country, and even in my family, are suddenly experiencing full-on winter weather, but... today was t-shirt and shorts weather. I even saw several tank tops when we were at the zoo. Some years, I love December 2 in New Orleans.
Posted by Shokufeh at December 2, 2007 08:32 PMYou rock for posting this. I used to like to tell my sister when we were running the air conditioning in the winter in NOLA while she was freezing in MA.
I can't find my winter hat, so I hope the weather here holds for the time being.
Posted by: Emmaleigh504 at December 2, 2007 09:13 PMI only like the cold because it means I can breathe. Warm air is suffocating....
Posted by: ez at December 2, 2007 10:11 PMI must admit, it is nice wearing linen and sandals even though it is December. Dakar is breezy but the sun is always brutal so we're still wearing sunscreen. I certainly don't miss driving on icy roads either.

Posted by: anis at December 4, 2007 05:23 AMHey, I love December 2 anywhere! Because that's my birthday.
Although I may have had the strangest birthday this year -- just lying in a hospital bed and looking at my newborn son.
