More changes than I'd counted on

So, Friday was Oh-my-gosh-MrMan-is-going-to-nursery-school day.

Yesterday? Yesterday turned into Oh-my-gosh-we-just-bought-a-car day. We didn't wake up planning to buy a car. We woke up planning to look at cars, maybe test drive a car. We need to buy one, but were planning to wait a while longer, maybe another month or two. But when we went to the dealership, the price on a new 2006 was too good to pass up. So we bought the Mazda5, a little known six-seater about which we're quite excited.

Today, we went to look at a house. No Oh-my-gosh-ing just yet. But there are another twelve hours in the day ;)

anyhoo...more minivan-esque than station wagon than i imagined. is it really big? i'll have to be on the lookout for one.

Car dealers can be quite persuasive when they want to be. It is so fun to have a new car. I have had mine for over 9 years, so I am just dreaming.

Wow, Shokufeh! That's great. The Mazda5 is awesome, you'll love it. The same thing happened to us--we knew we wanted to get a new car, but we just went to the dealership and ended up buying it by the end of the evening. Heh. Oops. But have fun in your new zippy car! If you want to come visit us in Houston, lemme know! Also, Happy Mardi Gras!!!
