I still plan to write about those other topics, but what's on my mind right now is that I need pants. Is it that tough to make a pair of inexpensive, well-fitting, not-too-trendy-looking, size four petite pants, appropriate for wearing while galavanting through stores and playgrounds? If I answered that question based solely on the stores I went to today, the answer would be yes, very tough. Unfortunately, there aren't that many more stores in town. Macy's, why hast thou forsaken me?!

Posted by Shokufeh at November 8, 2006 07:24 PMI'm totally in love with Ann Taylor Loft right now. I bought two pair of pants in less than 30 minutes and they fit! First time experience for me. Not Wal-Mart cheap, but about $50 a pair. Hopefully Ann Taylor hasn't forsaken New Orleans as well.

It is hard for me to find pants that fit well too. I can't imagine trying to do it with a limited number of stores. Good luck! I don't know much about petite sizes, but Old Navy sometimes carries decent & cheap stuff.
