Fall is in the air

There's almost a nip in the air. A nippette? Enough of a nip, especially considering that this is New Orleans, to let me know that fall is just around the corner.
After four falls in Honolulu, this is especially exciting.
There's a part of me that would love to be further north, where leaves are changing. But I don't know if my heart could take it.

I have been longing for a change in the seasons too. This is my 8th year of there being no chance of that.

Come for a visit! We're getting all fall-like here.

I don't know what nip you're talking about because here it's about 90 degrees every day. People warned me about this.

There were these trees outside the BNC that earned the name "the rainbow trees" for about a week each year. They were/are so pretty! I need pictures of them from someone up there.

hey shokufeh! my daughter's uncle moved from hawaii before he passed so he could experience seasons again! so i kinda know how you feel. we still have to drive to see snow here (which i don't mind at all, since i don't like snow) but last night it rained and it's gray and windy outside - that makes me very happy :) i didn't know it but my daughter's favorite season is in the winter when it's dark and rainy! do you have a favorite season?
