Thanks, God

Dear God,
Thank you for making MrMan a non-colicky baby. You never give us more than we can handle, so this probably means that I'm too weak to handle the incessant crying and sleeplessness. I'm okay with that.

Back before there was the husband there was just me, and the little man. And the little man was one seriously colicky baby. The only thing that would calm him down (and it didn't always work) was to hold him while walking my sleep-deprived self up and down the stairs. And up and down. And up and down. All night long. Until I was ready to collapse. So a big YAY! for MrMan. And a smaller yay for my little man, because even though the colicky phase seemed like it lasted forever, it really didn't. And his extreme awesomeness has made up for it anyhow.
