Neighborhood symphony

I never wrote about this great dream I had a few weeks ago: it was an eBay commercial. Really, it would work for other stores or services, but it was eBay in my dream.

The camera focused on person after person, each playing a musical instrument (acquired at eBay, of course). I think the camera panned out of each person's window, so you could tell that each was playing separately, in their homes, at night. And then the camera pulled back, so you could see that all of these people lived in the same neighborhood, dark except for the lights on where they were playing. And one person was standing on a roof, enjoying the symphony created by the neighbors.

I woke up feeling very happy and shiny. There was some great tagline about what contribution you would make to the symphony, or somethingruther, but I can't remember it anymore.

gosh, go and have it copyrighted, or you'll see it up on ebay before the Holiday madness! Think: college fees, Harvard, Princeton, Berkeley....go, go, go!

Ever thought about a job in advertising? Maybe you would get paid to sleep. Wouldn’t that be nice!!!

That is brilliant! You should now go and sell it to eBay. It is such an awesome idea!
