Saturday, I came across the second half of Growing Pains II: Home Equity. As anyone who knew me in my early and mid teens knows, I was once a rabid fan. The inside jokes were mildly amusing - the next generation saying Mike's leather jacket would have been cooler had it been worn by Leonardo DiCaprio, Maggie saying she was always able to take time out for a laugh on Tuesday nights.... But even I can say they should have left well enough alone. Sometimes, the memories are better than trying to recapture what once was. And did they think I wouldn't notice that the house was completely different?! But was supposed to be the same house! That was no 15 Robin Hood Lane! (Rabid fan, go back into your cave!)
