i'd forgotten that people living on the equator always had 12 hour days and nites. sucks to be you!!! sorry, but i have to emphasize all the wonders of hawaii as bad so you'll move back here. rainbows and waterfalls suck too. :)

I too enjoy the loads of extra daylight, but it sure makes it hard to get the little man to bed. Imagine, in the most whiningest little voice possible, "Nooooooooooo! But, but it's nottt darkkk yettttt!"

Actually, I don't think she's talking about Hawaii. She's talking about Seattle! Lovely Seattle has long summer days... sigh. I really miss that. I actually think they have longer days than Hawaii -- because of the earth's tilt, maybe?
