Will work, no holidays

I was just going through my 2004 work calendar when I noticed that:
July 4, 2004
December 25, 2004
January 1, 2005
all fall on the weekend.
I hope we still get a weekday off.

this is absolutely no good. since i'm not really granted any days off (except for labor day when they shut down the fume hoods), i bank on the fact that i deserve these days off when they are in the middle of the week. i might not end up working the weekend anyway, so i could have had those days off already.
but shokufeh, you can't complain about holidays. hawaii has more official holidays than anywhere else (source: meisa getting phone calls from shokufeh saying "oh, it's prince lelekawahilani's birthday, so it's a holiday" or "today is the anniversary of queen kewaniwani's death, so i don't have to work"). another reason to move there.

I can complain all I want. And you know you wouldn't take the weekend off. You're probably really happy these holidays fall on the weekend, my workaholic.
Yeah, you should move here.
