Number of pairs of shoes under my desk: 5
-Black Old Navy flip-flops (worn to work this morning)
-Black Nine West lace-up oxfords (on feet, always under desk as my fall-back)
-Brown Cloud 9/Nine West loafer mules
-Black Cloud 9/Nine West flats with strap
-Asics running shoes (in plastic bag, with socks, in case I actually go to the gym)
Are we talking about the desk at work? or at home?
This somehow reminds me of your mom - every once in awhile I would go around and collect her shoes that were laid in various locations (sometimes 6 or 7 pairs under the computer table) and line them up in a conspicuous place. Must be a woman thing -and I do not mean to sound chauvanistic - just an observation. Maybe it's like Venus and Mars. I bet it would be quite profitable to have a shoe store on Venus. I need to investigate how I can get into that line.

I started migrating my shoes here because I don't tend to wear them on the weekends, and I like to wear sneakers when I walk home from work. So I figured, instead of carrying shoes back and forth, I might as well leave some here. So my shoes at work tend to be the more closed-in ones, and my shoes at home tend to be the more sandal-y ones.
