WHAT?!?????

Oh my goodness!!! I am having the *BEST* day ever! What, you ask, could contribute to such a mood? Well, Andrew and Richard (better known as "Tom") surprised me at the office IN PERSON!! AAAAAAAHHHHH! Crazy...

Totally made my day. That and seeing Javad and Naseem at the same time after about a week. That rocked too.

for your daily amusement

As I sit here with the Killers' "Jenny Was a Friend of Mine" running through my head, I am amused at having come across the following:

Some photos of me and friends from OH SO LONG AGO!

My days of super short hair... ah yes, I remember them well. And I'm actually thinking of doing that again. I know, I know - I've worked so hard to grow my hair out. But seriously, it'll grow again, and I think the change of pace might be good for me.

So, let's take a poll - yea or nay to short hair? Whaddya think?

friends gil, faith and charla (and me, obviously)

angeline, me and faithie - isn't faithie just so cute? she had scraped her nose while swimming, so that's what the red mark is. we teased her to no end.

i look uncomfortable in this chair, don't i?

and in other news...

Back from Delaware today - earlier than expected, which was actually nice. I imagine Delaware is a lovely, green state when it's not drenched in the dreary gray of winter.

But behold the glorious sunrise I got to absorb while driving to the airport this morning. Niiiiice...

let it snow

Arriving back home at 4:00am on Saturday night/Sunday morning from a pah-tay welcoming my brother Marc to Chicago... I was greeted by this scenery.

winter wonderland

it's going to be fun to brush off the car in the morning

Ah... there's nothing like winter in Chi-town.

i got a 127!*

Take this quiz NOW! Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Instead, show us what a genius you are with 80s music!! George got a 71! When taking the quiz, you have to be sure to spell correctly - it's picky about that.

Are you red hot, or are you *so* not? C'mon - show us your stuff!

And you scored a...

(*and that makes the era in which I grew up painfully clear!)

limozeen!

For all of you out there who used to watch Gem, Josie and the Pussycats, The Brady Kids, or The Partridge Family cartoon (c'mon, fess up!) - check out this gem of a Saturday morning music-themed cartoon gone horribly, horribly wrong! It is, of course, brought to you by the geniuses at homestarrunner.com and they are rrl rrl cool!

Aaaaaaaaah! I can't stop laughing!!

March 09, 2005

ahem... anybody out there?

Dear Delara,

I am feeling a bit neglected these days and am thinking about going on strike. Or moving to Aruba. It is warmer there. It is likely that people are more leisurely and will have more time to devote to blogging. I don't think I would be as lonely there. Sigh... And I might even get decked out with a whole new color scheme - this experiment you tried months ago has lost its flavah.

If you ask me, the proof is in the blogging. So, there.

I do hope you are ok, though. Are you? Or are you seriously interrupted at the moment? Don't they have some medication for that?

Just checking in.

Sincerely,
your blog
