precious
Remember that hanging flower pot I mentioned? Yeah, the one that became home to a robin's nest. Well, three bobbly, fuzzy, open-mouthed heads peeked out of the nest today, and I'm in love. Momma robin was feeding the three gaping mouths and poppa robin wasn't far away (in a branch on the tree in the front yard), so I didn't want to get too close (which means I wasn't able to snap a good photo just yet). I watched them for about 15 minutes - it was such a gift, and I couldn't tear my eyes away.
I'm just so tickeld by the fact that I have baby robins hanging out on my front porch. So cute!!
And so precious.

Interesting... cross species (not to mention genus through family) maternal instinct.
