random by the numbers
For the past few days, I have been amused or intrigued by the following numbers:
- Heinz's 57 Varieties - what are they all, anyway?
- 7 deadly sins
- Baskin Robbins' 31 Flavors
- 7 Natural Wonders of the World
- The Dirty Dozen
- 2 turtle doves
- 7 heavens
I just love lists. And intrigue. Haha.
But please don't google these things and then return some smarty-pants answers in the comments. I could have done that myself.
Comments

Heinz prophecyzed that his great, great granddaughter would marry a man with giant muscles and an enormously small "package". Resulting in 57 complete failures at bringing a condiment "king" to the face of the earth that would eventually wind up ruleing just about everything that can go on a hotdog. From his onset, Mr. Heinz has really only wanted one thing, complete world domination over hotdog condiments, of which oddly enough, there are exactly....ready...57!!!!!!! How this number was decided on takes an acute familiararity with the knowledge of sub atomic particles, quantum physics, and an understanding of chaos theory, all of which I am not, so no further explanation will be spoken of here. HOWEVER...the number 5 is the 4th number of the Fibionacci sequence, 7 is not in the sequence but supprisingly enough is the number of offspring that the "beast" from The Holy Grail (which we all know was only actually a harmless and very friendly bunny rabbit, who in real life went by the name of Carl and who ran a very homey pub just on the outskirts of Shaftsbree, England) NOW. Mr. Heinz was the proud owner of Carl the rabbit's grandfather, Bill the bunny, who actually was able to transcend the communication barrier that exists between rabbits and humans, and speak english!! The only thing though that Bill ever clearly got across to Mr. Heinz was......."I am the creator, you shall find the answer to everything if you can find the 58 ingrediants that would make a PERFECT hotdog!!" Hence, Mr. Heinz' lifelong persuit to dominate the entire worldwide market in search of these 58 ingredients. At the time of his death, he has found 57, HENCE...Heinz 57...Do you think it is a coincidence that Mr. Heinz' great, great granddaughter is married to a man who rising through the ranks of power? What comes with power people!! Frickin' CONTROL!!! Control over the condiment market of the world, in search of the last ingredient that would unlock this secret!! If you want the Heinz family holding the key to our existence, go ahead, keep buying Heinz, but not me man, I'm the one stearing my own boat brother!! But isn't it just fasinating..the mystery, the truth behind simple numbers....

the other 56 varieties seem to have fallen by the wayside in recent years. A tragedy, indeed.
