fit as a fiddle

So, aside from eating WAY too much sugar these days, I am pleased with the fitness levels I have worked to achieve. For example, whereas the Kwando class I often take kicked my a** initially, it is a breeze now. And I only used to be able to lift minimal weights and now can seriously pump some iron. It feels good, let me tell ya.

And it continues. I had a great workout yesterday evening, although I have to remember not to drink or eat just before or during working out next time. I ended up with a big tummy ache, but I pushed through and had a great, sweaty workout.

So, in case you were wondering, my current stats are that I have lost a total of 6 pounds and 7 inches from various places. I am quite pleased and am totally psyched to keep it up! Woo hoo!

Keep up the good work!!!!!!

Right on, Delara! It feels so great to get moving and see results. I'm itching to rollerblade - bring on the warm weather! I'm with you on the sugar. It makes me feel so yucky but it's so hard to stop. Working on it, working on it.

D-lara -- you're right. mr. p-air is a wonderful motivator. i was lovin' watching him at the gym last night quietly telling you that, yes, you could absolutely handle those two last presses while lightly touching the bar with his index fingers to assure you that he had you if you needed him but that you were really doing it yourself. That's what makes him so AWESOME! You're right, I am absolutely a very lucky lady. Oh -- and having you as a friend is AWESOME too! Lv ya!

ruth a mcfarlane!! i can't believe it - you rock, woman. thank you, first of all, for visiting my online world and dropping me a line. how excellent! second of all, i will definitely email you to touch base and connect. i'm so excited!! it has been WAY too long. the short story is that i was horrible at keeping in touch with ANYONE from high school. in my next life i'm sure i'll come back as a bug or something for that, but i'm trying to be better about it now. anyway, to spare everyone else the long comments... so great to hear from you and you'd better believe i'll be in touch! love, d

This is sort of a long shot -- I am looking for a high school friend from Illinois. I saw a post from another delara zargarpoor to you that looks like it came in last year? Anyway, I am hoping that in the vast universe of delara zargarpoors, one of you two is the one I am looking for.

Cool blog, BTW. Excellent progress with the fitness goals it seems. I wish I could get my ass back to the gym. My problem is that I get there and I get all into it for a few weeks and then something interrupts, travel, illness, and then I feel like I have to start all over. Very crappy. Inertia is at a high point right now -- if inertia can have a magnitude. . . hmm.

Pls drop a line back either way -- Delara sought or not.

and i must say that i owe a lot of it to p-air, the most fabulous personal motivator and encourager there is! charla marla is one lucky lady. :)

oh man I miss the gym. After april 15th when I'm only working 8 hrs a day... me and Ballys are gonna need to hang out daily again.
Keep up the hard work! It's so exciting to see results!

Congrats, D!

Wow - 7 inches. That's impressive, Delara! You continue to inspire me.
