boo!
Funniest thing that happened today:
That several people from the office came by the hotel where the committee was having its meeting and trick-or-treated. Great masks! Scrumptious baklava!
Saddest thing that happened today:
I received some disheartening news. Important to know, but sad. My heart still hurts.
Most pathetic thing that happened today:
I woke up.
Most painful thing that happened today:
I had too much dairy. It's a good thing air has two escape routes from one's body.
Greatest thing that happened today:
We had an awesome meeting, everyone arrived here safely, and it was 60+ degrees outside! In October?!?? Unheard of!
What should have happened today:
Me, sitting outside in sunny 80 degree weather, near a beach with the ocean waves softly crashing on the shore, preferably pregnant about 3 months with a fabulous baby, happily united with my hubby who is sitting next to me wearing lots of sunblock and reading Parenting magazine, having just had amazing sex last night, and having nothing more to do than just read a great book and be me. Fabulous, fun, uncomplicated me.
Trick or treat!

tee hee. yes, well... it is my fantasy that paul does not turn into a lobster because he forgot to put the sunblock on. hence, it is included. ha ha! and i agree with your hint and might even take you up on it, except that paul is WEIRD and does not necessarily want to go to hawaii. it is not that he wouldn't enjoy it, it's just not in his top 5. hilariously, the galapagos islands are. go figure.

You crack me up, Delara. I like that your fantasy is very healthy - including sunblock for Paul. Maybe when you're three months pregnant, you two should come visit us. Hint, hint.

Whoa, dude, this is quite an entry!
I am nervous about this bad news. Last time there was bad news my coworker was laid off.
