delara, interrupted

I know, I know. Again, it has been over two weeks and no blogging. Alas, it is the flow of my life. But, interestingly and in direct contrast to my true nature, I am moving toward a more regular schedule that might allow for blogging at more regular times. WE SHALL SEE!

I am also moving toward a NEW AND IMPROVED site - with actual design to it and stuff. Lots of stuff. I invite you to let me know what kinds of things you would like to see here - a quote of the week, a travel destination profile of the month, a newly tried recipe, etc. Bring it on!

I just got back from Norfolk, Virginia (hearing people who actually live there say the word Norfolk is both alarming and funny) after having attended a conference on religious research. It was both very enlightening and very difficult for attention-challenged people such as I. Overall, it was interesting though. I learned a lot.

And I got to spend time with my cuz Sussan and her family - major good times! The kids, Nikka and Ehsan, are way cool people. They are growing up to be super funny and well-adjusted kids. Very cool.

I am now preparing for another all-weekend meeting. And the weekend after that I have my monthly women's gathering (on women's health) and a training program. And the weekend after that is Pop's birthday, but I will YET AGAIN be in a meeting all weekend. So, between now and November 22, unless I take a day off from work, I shan't have a day off. At all. SERIOUSLY!

Something is amiss.

On top of it all, just to warn you, I am slowly but surely going out of my mind. Both literally and figuratively. Ha! Count on some whacked out blogging from here on out.
