I broke my ABS.
Seriously though, Yesterday was a milestone - I went to the gym for the first time in a few months. It was fabulous. Today I overslept. However, once up and breakfast was outta the way, more crunches and a whole lotta stretching was done.
The abs arent broken, but a happy sore. A happy sore that screamed at me everytime I laughed, sneezed, coughed or slouched today.
Tomorrow, tomorrow is the big day. The big day that decides if I'll be lazy again or if I will keep this regular gym visits and excersizing muscles thing going. Today was supposed to be the big day, but it turned into the mini - oh just do some crunches and stretch and make your body feel better about itself day. I could play this tomorrow is the big day game forever. Except that'd be illogical... so I better just go to the gym.
go girl! keep it up! what can i do to help motivate you to go? maybe tell you how going to the gym has literally changed my life for the better?!? having nothing to do with losing weight (because as referenced on my blog i have actually not lost any weight) and having a lot to do with the awesome muscles i'm developing and the reduction of stress that has occurred, going to the gym rocks. i really can't go for more than 2 days without working out. madness... go go go!

Posted by: george at January 12, 2005 09:34 AMGreat!! Please remember to start gradually and not to over work your abs muscles. Remember, you haven't been in the gym for a few months. "No Pain No Gain"

Commenter - present thyself? please.
Every day wants to be a big day. I start small with my expectations - I promise myself that maybe today, I'll finally do laundry and wash my sweatpants. Then maybe tomorrow they'll dry. And By the end of the week, I might just be on the treadmill again.
Here's hoping :)
