Folks, remember when you were a kid, and consuming ice cream cones (with sprinkles) was an almost daily occurance during the summertime?
In my case it was a regular part of summer straight through college when I recall the menu shifting over toward the smoothie side of life. Then it became health shakes and the frozen yogurt only. And then, over the past year, it became the notion that ice cream could be the one thing to keep out of my diet. Then summertime came and I had to have it, ya know, just cuz. Well I'm here to tell you that Ice cream cones with rainbow sprinkles are neither as fun nor needed as they used to be (in fact it gave me a headache and made me a bit ill).
This both makes me feel old and a lil bit cynical - I mean when the hell did my body decide to grow up and not need ice cream, everyone needs ice cream...
I sympathise completely. I can no longer have my two loves in life (besides Baha'u'llah, of course): chocolate and coffee. Boohoo. My heart goes out to you, Abs.

But ICE Cream...., I don't know. there are limits to what is not necessary. Ice Cream will always be necessary. Just once a quarter not every night, but necessary. Anything less is just plain un-American!.
