Spring in Full Swing

I'm quite fond of this time of year for many many reasons. Yesterday was absolutley bursting with life's reminders of the importance of this season of growth and renewal. The day's activities revolved around a visit to SUNY New Paltz, where I spent my first three undergrad years. Lots of quality visiting time with former co-workers and friends; And Lots of time spent in reflection on the splendor of God's magnificent creations was done. Twas a good Monday.

Large goose, on the banks of the Gunk (campus waterway/pond) -A inescapable resident of the SUNY NP comunity

Baby Duckies were everywhere! These cuties came right up to my feet!

Oh my gosh, ducklings are so cute. It's a shame they turn into ducks.

(Ducks are cute I guess, but they're kind of useless. But that's mean. Eh.)

L- It's a shame these ducklings have to grow up and live on the campus, really. Otherwise, I'm sure they'd make quite proper ducks somewhere lovely.
D- Isn't it lovely. I really do love NY. It's amazing how after months now I still sit and take in the scenery and appreciate the difference from the flat mid-west to the mtns and landscape here.
